Making Sense of the Roots and Spread of Far-Right Extremism
Drawing on the recent case of the 16-year-old Singaporean who was detained by the Internal Security Act for planning attacks on two mosques, Prashant Waikar, Senior Analyst at RSIS, wrote a commentary about the importance of understanding far-right extremism and why it exists. He said that the roots of far-right extremism originate from white supremacy and is significantly more pervasive than most would like to admit.
