How to Avoid Foreign Policy Disaster in a Changing World
Dr Angela Poh, an adjunct research fellow at RSIS, wrote in her commentary that the escalating and unprecedented superpower rivalry between the United States and China is putting pressure on countries seeking to manage relations with both sides. History and political science offer some models for governments groping for answers on how to prepare themselves to effectively deal with new challenges. There is also no “one size fits all” approach, as there are pros and cons to each of these models.
