Weaponizing COVID-19: New Trend In Pandemic Era? – Analysis
In a commentary, Kenneth Yeo Yaoren, a research analyst and Iftekharul Bashar, an assoc research fellow, both from RSIS, wrote that extremist and terrorist networks of various denominations are trying to exploit the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak to pursue their objectives. They added that responding to security threats in an era of global pandemics will require better understanding of evolving trends.
