Abstract

Co-chaired by CSCAP Singapore through RSIS and USCSCAP through Pacific Forum, this meeting will bring together nuclear experts from throughout the Indo-Pacific and beyond.

This year’s virtual meeting of the Nuclear Energy Experts Group will tackle the following topics: nuclear power and climate change; advancing the peaceful use of nuclear technology in Asia; improving strategic trade controls to enhance nuclear governance in Asia; and the future for small modular reactors and floating nuclear reactors.
