Research Fellow / Senior Fellow (Centre for Non-Traditional Security Studies)
The successful applicant will take the lead in formulating viable research projects on Climate Security and Planetary Health. Familiarity with regional context (Southeast Asia and the wider Asia region) will be an advantage. He/she will lead in arranging of conferences, workshops and outreach events, as well as oversee and undertake institutional and administrative tasks relating to research agendas such as data collection and analysis, conduct literature reviews, etc. The Senior Fellow /Research Fellow is also expected to contribute to the Centre’s multidisciplinary research agenda, contribute to team research and policy-oriented projects, and mentor junior researchers.

The successful applicant is expected to contribute to the Centre’s Programmes on climate security and planetary security, as well as to contribute to the Centre’s publications. Associate Research Fellow (Futures Issues and Technology)
The successful applicant is expected to have a keen interest in the policy impact and security implications of one or more emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, space, quantum technology, energy, biotechnologies, smart cities, nanotechnologies, and more. They should be prepared to conduct research, publish both individually and as part of a team, and assist in organizing seminars, conferences, and workshops, which may include administrative and logistics preparation.

Junior Researcher (Studies in Inter-Religious Relations in Plural Societies Programme)
Applicants should possess a degree in Islamic studies with at least 2 years’ experience in basic research methodology and project management. Applicants should also possess good writing and research skills with an aptitude and interest for in-depth research in the relevant field. Fluency in Arabic, English and Malay is preferred to facilitate research in religious/inter-religious issues, conflicts and peace-building efforts.

Corporate Communications Executive (RSIS)
The post holds responsibilities mainly in corporate communications and digital marketing.Applicant who possesses the necessary skills set and higher industrial experience may be considered for a higher appointment at Assistant Manager or Senior Corporate Communications Executive.
This includes the following areas:
- Build, execute and review social media strategy and plans to build brand awareness/branding,
- Create, edit, publish, and share content (original text, images, video, and HTML) including podcasts, videos or graphics for publicity on RSIS social media channels and website
- Collaborate with other departments to manage RSIS branding, including RSIS merchandise and collaterals;
- Assist in production of RSIS publications such as the annual report and newsletters;
- Facilitate media engagement.
