Mr TIMOTHY LOH

Regional Director, U.S. Soybean Export Council Southeast Asia

Timothy Loh is the Regional Director (Southeast Asia) with the U.S. Soybean Export Council Inc., previously known as ASA International Marketing (ASA-IM) to its international markets. Before his current position, Timothy served as the Deputy Regional Director for over 2 years and was Director of Marketing with ASA-IM for over 12 years. He continues to oversee the commercialization and marketing activities in this region in addition to general management responsibilities.

Timothy started his career in ocean transportation, spending several years with an international shipping company managing the commercial prospects of its fleet of Panamax vessels. He later joined a U.S. based grain company, Continental Grain Company (CGC), transitioned across its international offices to train and work in different markets before moving to the Philippines as CGC’s Country Marketing Manager merchandising various ag-products from multiple origins.

Timothy holds a Masters in Agribusiness from Kansas State University, and a Degree in Finance from Western Michigan University. His focus is in international agribusiness marketing and trade, ocean transportation and supply-chain logistics for agricultural commodities.
