Thomas Lim is a Senior Analyst with the Military Studies Programme (MSP) of the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University. He holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in International Relations from RSIS, and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of London, also in International Relations. Prior to joining RSIS, he was the chief trainer of ST Engineering’s Armoured Vehicle Driving Training Project, where he taught Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) trainees on how to drive and maintain the SAF’s fleet of tracked vehicles. His research interests are rooted in state-to-state interactions, while also being a keen observer of land warfare and vehicular capabilities in operations.
