Full-time and Part-time Research student must study a number of MSc coursework to be selected from the Master of Science (Strategic Studies), Master of Science (International Relations ), Master of Science (International Political Economy) and Master of Science (Asian Studies) programmes as well as three PhD core courses :

. P9001 The Advanced Study of International Politics: Concepts, Methods and Research Design

. P9002 Quantitative Methods in the Study of International Politics

. S6007A Professional Skills Enrichment - Analyzing International Politics: Concepts & Methods

The coursework subjects must be completed within the first 18 - 24 months of the candidature.
