Stephanie is an Associate Research Fellow in the National Security Studies Programme at the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her research interests include socio-cultural identity, governance and social relations, and the influence of new media. Stephanie holds a First Class Honours degree from the University of Western Australia. Her PhD thesis is currently under examination review. Prior to joining RSIS, Stephanie was a researcher at the Institute of Policy Studies, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
