Bio:
Muhammad Saiful Adli Ayob is a Senior Analyst for the Radicalization Studies Programme at the Centre of Excellence for National Security, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University. He holds a Bachelor of Education Degree (specialist in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language) from Kuwait University. He also holds a Master of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies from Sharif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta. Prior to joining RSIS in April 2011, he has served in three Islamic institutions, namely Singapore Islamic Scholars & Religious Teachers Association (Pergas) from 2003-2005, Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis) from 2005-2009 and Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah in 2010. His research interests include the debate on religion and secularism, Sufism, religious interpretations and practices as well as Islam and Muslims in Southeast Asia and Middle East.
