Bio:

Jennifer Yang Hui is an Associate Research Fellow for the Homeland Defence programme at the Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS), S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in History from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005. She was the recipient of the Tun Dato Sir Cheng Lock Tan M.A. Scholarship that allowed her to earn a Master of Arts in Southeast Asian Studies from NUS in 2010. Her research interests include: History and application of strategic communication, the study of religion in contemporary society, history and social movements in Indonesia and other parts of Southeast Asia, ethnic Chinese in Indonesia.
